A fantastic opportunity to join an established manufacturing SME business based in Birmingham. A renowned reputation for its bespoke products and excellent customer service, this corporation are seeking a dynamic and experienced Finance Manager.

In this pivotal role, you will play an integral part in driving the financial success and strategic growth of the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparation and sign-off of monthly management accounts
• Annual audit coordination and acting as the primary contact for external auditors
• Budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Cash flow management and reporting
• Supporting strategic decision-making with timely financial insight
• Overseeing payroll, VAT, and compliance-related matters
• Management experience of a small team

The successful candidate will have:

• Fully qualified ACCA or CIMA (essential)
• Experience within a manufacturing or product-based environment
• Strong understanding of management accounting and financial reporting
• Hands-on, detail-oriented approach with the ability to operate independently
• Excellent communication skills and the confidence to work closely with senior leadership
• Comfortable with accounting systems such as Sage, Xero, or similar
